18:28 UTC—One of Twelve has changed in the year since I last saw her. On one hand, she is very sure of herself, as usual, and works somewhat better with others, but on the other hand, she seems distanced and aloof. I also have a feeling based on what she told me, that Dak Kyth’zhyr needs to have his counseling credentials revoked. I had to tell her that taking reading material to a social event is not the best idea, even if she actually only took crew efficiency ratings to review. She will struggle in those types of situations, but she needs to be available to interact with others, not withdraw. I also told her to never share with subordinates her personal opinions about superior officers, no matter how correct her opinion. Doing so undermines their authority and creates a mess of the chain of command, not to mention, it can negatively affect her own reputation as well. She said she will not do that again. I have a feeling that the cause behind One of Twelve’s aloofness was being placed in a First Officer position without enough support for her specific quirks. She can perform those duties without problem, but she was designed to be at the top of the hierarchy. I expect she will continue struggling when placed in similar situations.

Admiral Allaron, One of Twelve is as fit for command as she’ll ever be. In my opinion, commanding a ship with her nearest commanding officer sectors away would be the nearest we can get to emulating how she commanded the Borg battle group with the Borg Queen in the next quadrant. I believe she needs distance from her commanding officers in order for her to live up to her potential.
